The upcoming CUET UG Exam 2027 will be administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), providing a singular gateway for candidates to seek admission to diverse UG courses across the participating universities, ensuring equal footing for all.
What is NTA?
The Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India (GoI), has founded the National Testing Agency (NTA) as a standalone, autonomous, and self-sustained leading testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860). Tasked with the responsibility of conducting streamlined, transparent, and internationally standardized tests, the NTA aims to evaluate candidates’ competencies for admission to esteemed higher education institutions.
With a mission focused on enhancing equity and quality in education, the NTA is dedicated to creating and administering research-based assessments that are not only valid and reliable but also efficient, transparent, fair, and aligned with international standards. Through these efforts, the NTA seeks to contribute to the overall improvement of educational standards by ensuring a robust and equitable evaluation process.
CUET UG Exam Pattern 2027
The CUET UG examination pattern has evolved in recent years, making it important for aspirants to understand the latest structure before starting their preparation. As per the latest available CUET UG framework, the examination is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and offers 37 subjects, including 13 languages, 23 domain-specific subjects and the General Aptitude Test. Candidates can select up to five subjects according to the eligibility requirements of their desired university and undergraduate programme.
