The UCEED/CEED Common Entrance Examination for Design Exam is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay.It is held annually for admission to the Bachelor of Design (B.Des) & Master of Design ( M. des) programs offered by IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIITDM Jabalpur. This Exam aims to assess candidates' aptitude in design, creativity, visualization skills, logical reasoning, and problem solving abilities. It evaluates their ability to think critically and creatively, as well as their understanding of design principles and aesthetics.
Exam Pattern
- The exam consists of two parts: Part A and Part B.
- Part A is a computer-based test that assesses candidates' skills in areas such as visualization, spatial ability, environmental and social awareness, language and creativity, and analytical and logical reasoning.
- A total of 68 questions were asked; there were three sections. Section 1 consists of numerical answer-type (NAT) questions; Section 2 contains multiple select questions (MSQ) and Section 3 consists of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
