CLAT (UG) 2024 – Application Form

The application process for CLAT UG 2024 is the first step towards your journey into the legal profession. It is important to understand the process thoroughly and complete it accurately to avoid any last-minute complications.

To register for CLAT UG 2024, you will need to create an account and fill in your personal details, educational qualifications, and contact information. You will also need to upload scanned copies of your required documents, such as your Aadhaar card, PAN card, and mark sheets of Class 10 and Class 12.

Once you have submitted your application form, you will need to pay the application fee. The application fee for CLAT UG 2024 is INR 4000 for general category candidates and INR 3500 for reserved category candidates.

CLAT 2024 – Eligibility Criteria

CLAT aspirants should know about the eligibility criteria for the exam. The eligibility criteria for CLAT UG 2024 are set by the Consortium of National Law Universities. It is important to meet the eligibility criteria to be able to apply for CLAT UG 2024.

• There is no age limit to apply for CLAT (UG).
• You must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.
• You must have scored at least 45% marks in Class 12 for General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories, and 40% marks for SC/ST categories.
• If you are appearing for Class 12 in 2023, you are still eligible to apply for CLAT (UG) 2024. However, you will need to submit your final Class 12 mark sheet at the time of admission. You must submit your Class 12 mark sheet at the time of admission.
• If two candidates score the same marks in CLAT (UG), the following criteria will be used to determine the tie-breaker:
  • Higher marks in the Legal Aptitude section of CLAT (UG)
  • Older age
  • Computerized draw of lots

CLAT (UG) 2024 – Exam Pattern

The exam is 2 hours long and has 120 multiple-choice questions. To be eligible for CLAT, you must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognized board of education.
